Projects
- My next big house project is installing a high-powered HD antenna in our attic (I think…I’m definitely going to try that before installing it on the roof, at least). Biggest questions are how to route the cabling (send it to where the TV’s are – one upstairs one downstairs – or routing it down to an HD HomeRun and running TV as software through Plex and the AppleTV’s we have everywhere.)
- My other house project is running Ethernet to the rest of the house that needs it the most, namely Kate’s work computer and the living room TV/buffet area. I have the cabling necessary to get from my office to upstairs, and then need to do some brainstorming and probably buy a thin cable and some conduit to route the cable to the living room TV area.
Music
I’ve been really, really, really getting back into Mogwai the last few weeks. This album is just unstoppably good.
After the One Song podcast episode about Led Zeppelin’s ‘Whole Lotta Love’ I’ve taken Zeppelin II for a few spins. Damn if it doesn’t hold up as good as it ever has.
