NOTES: In Apple Retail stores, employees gather 1/2 hour prior to the start of the day for the morning download, where recognition and updates are shared. This is also where employees are able to share their passions to help educate their colleagues on topics pertinent to Apple Retail. As part of this, and because of my passion for and experience in listening to and creating Podcasts, I gave the following ‘Podcasting 101’ presentation. In 2005, Apple added a Podcasts section to iTunes, resulting in millions of individuals being exposed to a media format that has since then become an important and regular part of media consumption (64% of the US has ever listened to a podcast, and 31% listen regularly).
